My client is a medium to large sized property services group with a multi office estate agency chain, surveying practice and block management division operating across London and Hertfordshire.

As a result of new estates and blocks won for management, they require a competent, assured and highly professional property manager / block manager for their block management team who will oversee a medium sized portfolio of leasehold blocks across Hertfordshire and North London from a Hertfordshire office base.

The suitable property manager will have 3-5 years’ experience undertaking the full range of block management duties from service charge budget setting to major works management, the S20 process, day to day resident liaison and arranging buildings insurance alongside chairing AGM’s and visiting sites.

Ideally, Property Managers will be IRPM or AssocRICS qualified though in absence of either suitable experience and solid commitment to past employers will suffice.

The portfolio of blocks managed comprises new builds, conversions, established purpose built estates and some mansion blocks with a total unit count of 300-600 depending on the property manager.

The successful property manager can expect a basic salary from £30k – £35k on experience, office parking space, ongoing reviews and advancement as well as support for professional qualification and excellent job security.
