Valuation Surveyor – Private Practice – W Midlands – c£56k+ plus benefits
We’re working with a long established, multi-office independent property consultancy who are looking to hire an additional Valuation Surveyor as follows:
- West Midlands based, able to travel to inspections locally from home
- Working hours are Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm (this is not a high-volume role requiring late evening working to meet turnaround times)
- MRICS and VRS qualified with 2+ years PQE
- IT savvy with broad system skills and ideally familiarity with tablet-based reporting software
- Workload will focus on Red Book Valuations for (mostly) secured Lending across Residential, Commercial and Mix Used Properties
- Where Commercial Property is inspected, the successful Valuation Surveyor will review and analyse occupational lease impact on value
- Strong local knowledge is essential (East/West Midlands)
The successful Valuation Surveyor will work on in-house generated work as opposed to Lender panel derived instructions, so this is NOT a high-volume valuation role.
Salary for the successful Valuation Surveyor will start up to £56,500 with 5 weeks holiday and an extensive benefits package comprising high street discounts, pension and health & wellbeing perks.
