My client is a long established, reputable firm of Chartered Surveyors specialising in Residential Block Management across Greater London.

As a result of portfolio growth, they now require a competent Service Charge Accountant / Property Management Accountant (with bookkeeping proficiency) to undertake the full range of service charge and bookkeeping functions relating to the portfolio under management using QUBE and SAGE software.

The suitable Service Charge Accountant / Property Management Accountant (with bookkeeping proficiency) will prepare service charges, make accruals and prepayments, reconcile bank accounts, liaise with property managers, prepare year end reports, profit and loss reports, arrears reports, investigate queries and report to the financial director and managing director as required.

The successful Service Charge Accountant / Property Management Accountant (with bookkeeping proficiency) will have strong IT skills, good communication skills, be able to meet deadlines and have a good understanding of RICS Client Money rules.

In addition, the Service Charge Accountant / Property Management Accountant (with bookkeeping proficiency) will come from a stable career background, live within commutable range of Isleworth and be happy to work office based Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm

Salary for the suitable Service Charge Accountant / Property Management Accountant (with bookkeeping proficiency) is negotiable but competitive with a generous holiday allowance and vibrant team/office environment.
