My client is a Birmingham based independent Property consultancy specialising in Residential Block Management in addition to Lettings and Commercial Agency across the Midlands.
Within their Service Charge Accounting team, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Service Charge Accountant who will work amongst the wider finance team overseeing the full range of accounting/service charge matters relating to the portfolio of leasehold blocks under management.
The suitable Service Charge Accountant will have 2 years’ Service Charge Accounting experience with thorough knowledge and exposure across Service Charge Budgets, Contractor Payments, Year End Accounts, RTM/RMC Accounting, Reconciliations and other property accounting tasks as required day to day.
In addition, the suitable Service Charge Accountant will have a strong service mentality, can-do attitude and take pride in providing accountable solutions to residents within blocks under management.
Whilst a recognised accounting qualification is desirable, it isn’t essential and support will be provided for those keen to obtain such.
The successful Service Charge Accountant will work office based and enjoy a salary around £25-30k to start rising quickly with tenure and responsibility.
