My client is a multi-office, fully independent block managing agent established in 2009.

Growing exponentially year on year through positive word of mouth / reputation, their block portfolios include RTM/RMC’s, freeholder sites and new build developments taken on from completion.

Priding themselves on sensible distribution of units amongst Property Managers, each portfolio is compact, manageable, low volume and well run.

Due to their ongoing expansion, an opportunity has arisen within their London office for an experienced Senior Property Manager / Team Leader to:

  • Directly manage an allocated portfolio of developments, providing an efficient and accurate administrative and day to day property management service.
  • Manage a team of property managers, reporting to Head of Property Management.
  • Provide effective training and support for the Junior Property Managers alongside the Head of Property Management.

The successful Senior Property Manager / Team Leader will need to hold a full driving license and relevant industry qualification – ideally MIRPM or AIRPM / RICS.

Working out of a Waterloo office full time the successful Senior Property Manager / Team Leader will report to / be supported by the Head of the Property Management with responsibility for managing a small number of (key) properties directly as well as looking after the team of property managers responsible for the whole of the south east portfolio between them. The successful Senior Property Manager / Team Leader will ensure the property management team undertake all aspects of property management including reactive, preventative management, health and safety and compliance as well as handling all complaints, and escalating to the Head of Property Management where appropriate.

Suitable Senior Property Manager / Team Leader applicants should have a strong background in managing complex budgets and legal matters, as well as a service mentality with the ability to deal with knowledgeable and demanding but cooperative directors

Senior Property Manager / Team Leaders with exposure to the prime London market and/or listed buildings and mansion blocks would do particularly well in this setting.

Salary for the successful Senior Property Manager / Team Leader will range from £45-55k depending on experience and will also include a number of benefits including the use of a pool car as required.
