My client is a family established and run firm of property managers with an excellent reputation amongst RTM and RMC blocks/estates across East London, North London, Essex and Hertfordshire.
With a loyal client base and expanding block portfolio under management, they are now looking to strengthen their property management team by hiring a senior property manager for their office in East London.
You will have at least 5 years solid property management experience with exposure to the full range of property manager duties, from service charge budget setting to insurance, major works, site inspection, health & safety and daily resident contact including AGM’s. The suitable property manager will also have experience of overseeing junior property managers, assistant property managers and other administrative support staff as well as property manager qualifications such as RICS or IRPM.
In terms of the portfolio itself, the successful candidate will oversee a high quality, low volume set of blocks on prestigious owner occupies estates in affluent postcodes.
Client care is key, so the suitable property manager will demonstrate patience, understanding, diplomacy and above all, the ability to get the job done right first time.
The position would best suit a property manager keen to step up, move away from high volume corporate management or simply apply their quality approach in an independent setting with like-minded professionals.
Salary for the successful property manager is negotiable but certainly in line with market values for the role and location.
