Are you an experienced MRICS / FRICS / AssocRICS and VRS qualified Residential Surveyor? Have you suffered a drop in volume, quality of work or had your patch parameters widened to include areas that you would not normally expect to cover?
Is your present employer a panel manager or simply panel appointed, the latter often meaning lower fees and volumes when the market tightens.
At BBL, we have recruited for the Residential Sector for over two decades, during which time we have worked through downturns, financial crises, extremely buoyant markets and subdued ones. Our clients include high street and specialist lenders, property groups, panel managers, panel appointed practices and regional firms concentrating on private workloads.
One of our clients, an independent, panel appointed practice with national coverage, seeks a number of additional surveyors and can (in certain locations) assist those with transferrable skill (as opposed to direct) by offering transitional training via an in house training manager.
Suitable Surveyors will be MRICS / FRICS or AssocRICS with VRS (or immediate eligibility to register under the scheme) with a background in either Valuation, Inspection, Loss Adjusting or Building Surveying and a keen interest in the residential market generally.
Once in post, successful Surveyors will undergo a period of shadowing an experienced residential surveyor whilst learning lender reporting formats with a dedicated training manger leading to eventual autonomy and their own patch of postcodes.
Vacancies currently exist in:
Newly training / autonomous fee earning Residential Surveyors can expect a basic salary in the region of £50k with a car allowance and uncapped bonuses enabling earnings in excess of £70k+
All positions are home based (once trained) covering local postcodes within a radius of 25 miles.
If you have considered a move in to the residential sector but lack the direct experience so often required then this opportunity represents an excellent in-road.
