Our client is a well-regarded manager of retirement and other leasehold property across the South and South East.
They currently have a requirement for an experienced property manager / block manager to act as Area Manager overseeing the site-based Estate Managers of 18 – 20 retirement / leasehold developments across Hampshire, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire.
Previous experience with retirement property is not a requirement but it is required that you live within a reasonable commute of the patch and have your own car / full UK license.
You will have dealt with the setting and monitoring of service charge budgets, Major Works and Section 20 consultation, site-staff and contractor management, buildings insurance matters and chairing AGM’s.
You will be your responsibility to visit each of your sites every 6 weeks and ensure they are maintained to a high standard, manage and supervise their staff, chair AGM’s and present budgets, among other things (full details available on application).
Attendance in the office (Based in Aldershot) is required 2 days per week, the remaining 3 will be spent visiting sites or working from home / office as is your preference.
Salary for this position is to fall in the range of £32k – £34k + £4k Car Allowance.
