Our client is a privately owned independent firm of Block property & Estate Managers with associated services in Surveying, Sales, Valuation and Lettings.
They oversee a portfolio of blocks (varying in size) throughout West Sussex and employ the latest technology to improve efficiency and ensure compliance with the provisions of the Landlord & Tenant Act and The Commonhold & Leasehold Reform Act 2002.
They seek an experienced block manager / property manager with a good understanding of all aspects of managing leasehold blocks and private estates to work from their West Sussex office covering a South Coast Portfolio.
Ideally you will be a member of the IRPM although training can be given in order to pass.
Candidates will need to be well organised and a strong communicator, who would be capable of attending RMC meetings, chairing those meetings and taking minutes. You should also have a good working knowledge of current Health & Safety legislation affecting leasehold blocks.
Main duties will include: – service charge budgets, section 20 / major works, liaising with residents on site, buildings insurance and all other associated leasehold block property management tasks
Salary is negotiable depending on experience but likely to fall in the region of £28 – £35k depending on experience.
