New Business Development Manager – Block Management – £70k basic – Part home based – London / Essex / Cheshire

My client is a large independent block managing agent overseeing an extensive portfolio of RMC, Freeholder, New Build and Prime sites via a network of Regional Offices UK wide.

Overseeing in excess of 60,000 residential block leasehold units across the UK, their client base not only includes the usual large developers and housebuilders but also RMC/RTM estates and a number of social landlords.

Having recently expanded their block manager team and systems providing extra capacity, they now seek a competent, well connected and professional Business Development Manager (BDM) to further market their name and services with the aim of continual portfolio growth and market share, particular against their corporate competitors.

The suitable Business Development Manager (BDM) will have a long standing Block Management background with extensive contacts (and dependable relationships) held across Developers, Freeholders, Resident Management Companies and larger Private Investors.

The successful Business Development Manager (BDM) will target both developers and freeholders at construction/phase completion stages for the purpose of tendering for management upon release.

The BDM will also target RTM/RMC sites who might not of otherwise considered larger national agents as a solution to current managing agent service failings.

Business Development Manager applicants will need to have strong block management knowledge, technical understanding of block management and outstanding sales skills in order to close deals.

The suitable Business Development Manager will also need to be well presented, self-motivated and show initiative in identifying potential management opportunities, essentially identifying and closing their own leads.

Naturally the successful Business Development Manager will be well rewarded, with a basic salary up to £70k, car (or allowance), commission and benefits package.

This BDM position works out of an Essex office base but offers part home working to suit.
