If so, and you enjoy performance related pay and bonuses on top of a basic salary and benefits package (including prestigious car) then our latest requirement (for which we are acting exclusively) may be for you.
Our client is a highly reputable, highly successful, independent managing agent based in a highly desirable part of South East London.
Overseeing blocks across London and the inner M25 generally, their property portfolio consists of flagship new builds, established freeholder sites and a number of long-term retained RMC’s.
With much of their long term retained client base coming from word of mouth, they have now decided (having increased staff capacity) to actively go out seeking new business and therefore require a competent business development manager ASAP.
Drawing on personal contacts, networking professionally and actively seeking out blocks unhappy with their present agent, the successful business development manager will make contact with decision makers, pitch to directors and manage the process from initial tender to contract issue and handover, earning anything up to £100 per unit won (so for a 100 unit estate the BDM will receive a £10k bonus).
In addition to the high commission rate, the successful BDM will receive:
- A basic salary up to £50k to start
- A BMW Company Car with business fuel card
- Company mobile phone
- Free parking at the office
- A casual dress code when in the office (jeans fine, suits/formal attire only required for AGM’s / client meetings)
- A supportive, friendly team and genuinely relaxed but vibrant atmosphere
Naturally the successful BDM will have a good general understanding and background in block management but need not necessarily have been a property manager themselves, the role is about selling our clients excellent service so influence, organisation and perseverance are more important than technical knowledge or professional qualification.
